Emergency Bearing Replacement for Cruise Ship Stabilizer

In May 2016, a cruise ship entered dry dock for scheduled maintenance, which included replacing a broken stabilizer fin. During the process, it was discovered that the flap bearings supplied by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) were incompatible and could not be used.

CIP, renowned for its rapid dry-dock emergency support, received the urgent request for replacement bearings. Understanding the critical nature of the situation, CIP responded immediately and delivered the needed bearings the very same day, ensuring the ship’s maintenance stayed on schedule and minimizing costly downtime.
