On deck or below the water, eliminate the need for grease lines and fittings in applications with high loads and slow speeds on both motor and sail yachts.  Replace current bronze bushings and wear parts with self lubricating CIP Composite bearings.  From pulley line bushings to fairleads, composite bearings will not corrode.  With the ability to run dry (without lubrication) or submerged underwater, CIP Composites have low coefficients of friction and do not absorb water.  Columbia Industrial Products offers customers multi-grooved shaft bearings (for water lubrication) that are comprised of a 100%, polyester based bearing material.  The environmentally friendly bearing and wear material can be utilized as thrust washers, wear pads and bushings all of which are custom manufactured.
