As a greaseless, maintenance-free bushing material, CIP Composite™ bearings are light weight and environmentally friendly compared to traditional bearing materials such as bronze, brass, nylon.
Slip stick and grease zerks can both be eliminated in the high load, slow rotating applications by using self-lubricating CIP Composite bearings. In many cases, the wear life of CIP bearing materials can reduce the rate of part replacement of plain bushings, thrust washers and wear pads. Whether it is a dirty environment, wet or dry running, CIP is non-toxic and a 100% bearing material (no fiberglass or metallic shell).
