Hydro Fish Screens and Ladders
As plain bushings, CIP Composites are a great alternative to traditional bronze based materials in the hydro industry.  With self-lubricating properties, CIP Composites are eliminating environmental concerns regarding grease near waterways and fish.  The heavy duty bearing material is a light weight, 100% bearing material with excellent performance in either wet or dry running applications.  Fish screens and ladders specifically can eliminate complex lubrication systems, including grease zerks, in the high loaded, slow rotating applications.  CIP Composite bushings reduce maintenance, do not corrode and can act as an electrical insulator in applications requiring thrust washers, plain bushings, or wear pads.
